It's been way too long since I've written anything, so I think it's about time I started picking up my pencil again. Anyway, in recent developments: not much.

I was going to go to the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Rally to Keep Fear Alive, however, I thought better of it and decided to save up the money rather than take a try to DC. There might be a satellite rally closer to home, so I may or may not attend that--although it seems the acquisition of funds for costs has been slow to flow. Also in the political sphere, Proposition 19 in California seems promising. Let's see if it passes or not. There are a handful of other important ones too, like every other election.

Also, NaNoWriMo is just around the corner. I'm considering counting blog posts as entries. If so, then that would equate to one 1667-word blog post everyday for the month of November. (For reference, this post is 321 words including the title.) I think the issue with me trying to write a full novel is I can't keep enough ideas and words for that; just plain no motivation. If I made some development along with it, things might actually end up nicely rather than just a timesink.

Lastly, I just checked Google's Webmaster Tools and, apparently, it thinks "it's" is the most common word on the site 86 times. The others in the top 10, in order, are people, kia, kroas, file, feed, archive, life, rss, and that's. "That's" has 33 appearances. Even though I don't particularly want a large readership, I think some SEO might be necessary. It's ridiculous!
