100 Things to Do Before I Die

A short time ago, I spent a week embarking in a quest of soul-searching and self-reflection. And what self-assessment journey would be complete without a list of 100 things to do before you die? In no order whatsoever here it is.

One hundred things I want to do before I die
  • Save up a million dollars (and keep it there)
  • Get a smart, sexy girlfriend
  • Get married
  • Have sex in a public place
  • Have sex in the wilderness
  • Kids (max 5)
  • Make my own programming language
  • Solve a mathematical conjecture
  • Find a new species
  • Create a new chemical
  • Create a new element
  • Make my own conjecture
  • Write a book (that sells over 10,000 copies)
  • Engage in conversation with intelligent people (in the same room)
  • Travel the world (at least 20 different cities and 5 in non-tourist areas)
  • Start a successful business (annual profits of $1,000,000+)
  • Live in a remote place (for a week)
  • Catch and grow my own meal (for a week)
  • Become an expert at something
  • Rescue or Save a country
  • Rescue or Save a person
  • Rescue or Save a species
  • Rescue or Save a place
  • Rescue or Save a thing
  • Cure some big medical problem or disease (AIDS, cancer, etc)
  • Solve some big world problem (Global warming, poverty, slavery, etc)

  • Swim with sea animals
  • Snorkel in coral reefs
  • Skydive
  • Go skinny-dipping
  • Appear in a world-class film (even if it's just as an extra)
  • Tell someone the story of my life
  • Send a message in a bottle
  • Ride a horse, camel, elephant, and kangaroo (in the same year)
  • Fight an alligator, ostrich, and tiger (in the same month?)
  • Try alligator and kangaroo meat
  • Visit Senate or House of Representatives (while they're in session)
  • Learn to dance (properly)
  • Be someone's mentor
  • Stand in a waterfall (for an hour)
  • Play a musical instrument (skillfully)
  • Spend the night in a haunted house (by myself)
  • Sing in front of an audience (of 1,000+)
  • Lecture or give a speech in front of an audience (of 2,500+)
  • Make a complete and utter fool of myself (and bounce right back)
  • Sleep under the stars
  • Run a marathon
  • View the world from the top of a historical monument (Great Wall of China, Pyramid of Giza, Statue of Liberty, etc)
  • Crash an important event (of a stranger and get away with it, weddings, funerals, etc)
  • Visit a nudist resort (and stay naked for a week?)
  • Watch two hot girls have sex (in person)

  • Play with hair styles (long*, bald, mohawk, mullet, afro, dreadlocks, etc)
  • Learn to swim (and surf)
  • Win the lottery
  • Make an arch enemy (for life)
  • Take down a big, corrupt corporation
  • Take down a corrupt politician
  • Speak many (3+) languages (fluently)
  • Start a world-wide treasure hunt
  • Stay up for over 48 hours doing something (without noticing it)
  • Make a joke (that people get)
  • Lift twice my weight
  • Take up another sport
  • Get kicked out of an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet
  • Take photos of my family and friends doing typical things (without them noticing)
  • Find and reconnect with a long lost friend
  • Surprise someone personally
  • Ask a stranger to a date
  • Give blood
  • Teach someone a useful skill
  • Win a competition or prize
  • Get in a (good) fist fight against someone (and win)
