The turkey is down the sewage pipe

Happy belated Thanksgiving. I didn't think about writing a post on Thanksgiving day for some reason, so I'll write it here now. A few days late, but oh well, not like it matters.

So on Thursday night I went with some friends and lined up at Best Buy at 8ish. It was a pretty long line. We got there kind of late, but things worked out. In short, it was ok--reminiscent of the hoboing times in Philly. Not bad though. It was pretty orderly. There were security guards with guns and police. And I guess Best Buy isn't as big of a hotspot as Fry's. The line still went half way around the block though. Crazy.

I got to be on TV for a few split seconds. Nothing major. I didn't even get to see it so I don't even know if they edited it out or not. So after 9some hours of waiting we got in and got Mizuho's laptop. I don't think GHOST got his mouse. Richie and Aaron got nothing. I got a cheapo Compaq netbook. Was looking for the cheap HP for $197 but I guess they ran out...or I didn't look hard enough. Oh well, the goal of the night was to have fun and get Mizuho the laptop and that was achieved.

After that we went back to Richie's place and slept, then ate his turkey and ham. Dropped off Mizuho...and then she carried Haku out again...and Haku ran off and hid in the hole again. Took some time to lure her out. And then we went to the beach. We set up a tent that was whacked up and was distorted by the wind. I lost the sandcastle contest against GHOST. We tried to fly the tent like a kite, but it didn't work; there wasn't enough wind. Cleaned up, ate pistachios, and went off to Wienerschnitzel (supposed to be going to The Hat, but GHOST somehow ended up driving to Wiernerschnitzel). Ate and went our separate ways.

And that was my Thanksgiving. All in all, pretty good.

Almost forgot the thanks. I'm thankful to have an aunt and uncle that took me into their home. I'm thankful for my job with ABigFisch. I'm thankful to be alive. And I'm thankful for everything else I have and don't have.
