Apples and Candies

heh...little fun poem about apples and candy.

An Apple A Day Keeps the Doctor Away,
But oh, pity to the poor little red ones,
(and the yellow and green ones too.)
Because those anxious apples, each a day,
Are gobbled up, munched away.


Come candy to the rescue!
Sweets and sours to the soft-willed tongue,
(and commercials to the color-awed eyes.)
Sizzle and fizzle in the mouth, a sound,
Crunch it up, hurry! the doctor's not around.


In the end it seems,
an apple is a small price,
compared to a doctor's pay.
