Writings and Musings
Since my life's boring and all, I really can't find anything to put here. So...I guess I'll start to throw some of my old writings out here to archive it and feed the Search Engine robots.
The next few posts will be a series of poems I've written over the years.

Actually, I'm surprised at my writing ability. I don't remember much of anything I wrote, but since it's in my Google Notebook, I'm pretty sure it's mine. Some of the stuff's just so weird that I can't believe it's mine. Especially looking back at the research papers I've written over the years...but that won't be here.
I'm thinking one day I'd like to publish a book with all these small poems. It won't be a best seller and I hope it won't ever be a part of some teacher/professor's curriculum, but I'd be nice to have a book to my name. I've been working on a novel, more or less, but it's going nowhere.
Hopefully I'll have my license in May. Filled out the forms for the instruction permit and turned it in this week, just have to pass the test. Should be easy enough...although I haven't really read much of the rules and things; I assume it's all going to be common sense. I think the test is multiple choice too, so it's all good. Then I'll learn some of the driving from dad and schedule for the driving test sometime in early May. Then I'll have a license. Still no car, but I'll make do.
Looks like I wont be able to get a passport in time for the road trip though. I need the documents so the DMV can check it, but I need to turn in the documents for a passport...and it takes 4 to 6 weeks...hmm...quite a predicament. Oh well.
I'm starting to have serious doubts about my ability to hold a living arrangement in California. It wouldn't stop me from actually trying, but I have no real plans or any idea what I'll be doing or how I'd do it. I may be in pretty bad trouble later. But whatever, since I usually have bad results in anything that I plan out, not planning out would probably end up with the same results. I just need a whole bunch of luck.
