Google? Where be them bots?!?

You can ignore this post. It's just some ramblings for the google bot.
Ok, seriously, why isn't my site listed in google search results for kiakroas.com? The first few weeks when the site came up it was there. I think it might be because of the low content of the site (no outside links), or the fact that the web page is too small.

If that is the case, then here I am to post random nonsense just to make the content seem fuller. Alright, here we go.
Hmm...I forgot whether or not I have to input html in this thing to make it show new lines. Testing: ~!`@#$%^&*()-_=+/?.>,<'";:\|]}[{
Now that we're on the subject of trying to break my site, I'll need to make an update to it later. The layout is simple, which was what I was going for, so that may or may not change. The logo might be changed into a text version, linked back to the homepage. I should also add quotes to the top, right-hand side to 1) make it seem like the page is different (for the indexing) and 2) to have something actually remotely interesting on the site.

I've been meaning to actually get some real content to the site. Just been more or less procrastinating. And now with the new game project and other stuff I can't quite have the time to do it. (That was a horrible excuse really since I don't know what the heck I'm doing with my time anyway.)

24 hours in a day
minus 8 to 10 hours of sleep
minus about 2 hours of coding
minus about 2 hours of gardening
minus about 2 hours of learning
minus 2 to 3 hours of "reading news" otherwise known as digg, reddit, del.icio.us, dzone, etc
minus about 2 hours of food-related activities
With rough large estimates, that leaves 3 hours of doing nothing. Hey, that's pretty nice. I thought I did nothing a lot more. But then again, productivity during those times I work are just horrible.
Anyway, some planned features for the site:

1) User system. I might implement some sort of OpenID protocol.

2) Advertisements. Probably Adsense. Definitely just going to be pure text ads with the occasional paid image links on the side. But that's it. Nothing flashy or sparkly and none of those "Click here" ads. This probably wont be implemented until next year (around mid-April 2009).

3) Donation buttons. With paypal going so jumpy these days, I don't know if I still should use it. Meh, might be worth a try anyway. I just hope Microsoft doesn't take over Yahoo. Icahn's lawsuit seems a little fishy--why's he going to all this trouble? Chances are Microsoft's not going to come back with the $40 per share offer after the lawsuit, not even $33 per share probably. If he wanted the damn profit so much, he should have just sold off the stocks. And now with the lawsuit in the news, the stocks are plummeting even more.

Oh well, if Microsoft takes over Yahoo, I'll just find some other Internet payment system. I might even consider a credit card for online purchases. In any case, this option also won't be coming out until mid-April or early-May of 2009.

4) Custom user layouts...or just a better layout. Yeah, I need to work on the layout a bit more. I've been planning a section of the site where I can take wordpress layouts and kinda just steal them. So users can upload their own custom layouts or a wordpress layout and it'll use it for the site. So a different layout for each user. Sounds pretty server intensive though.

5) Secure up site and make it UTF8 compatible. Even though this one is number 5, it's the one that's probably going to get implemented first. The thing with coding your own CMS is that exploits for it isn't public. So if you have a code flaw in your code and someone's exploiting it, you might never find out until the exploit becomes noticeable (which in some cases, might be never). So since I want to re-invent the wheel, I must be vigilant in my security. Also, I want UTF8 because I want to rewrite my articles into different languages, French, Spanish, possibly Latin, (and also Mandarin/Chinese, German, Japanese, Russian, etc if/when I learn them).

6) Database renovations. The Database and server might undergo some renovations too. But I'm not too interested in it yet. Code rewrites are so tedious. And then sometimes I end up rewriting the whole damn thing.

7) Hmm...it would seem that When I just submitted this that the index page isn't reading this correctly. It just shows the first index and thats it. I'll need to fix that.
